In 2009 Downsview Park's Trail of Lights is open every night from November 27th to January 3rd from 6pm to 10pm. On most days the trail is a drive-through experience - five designated "Walk-Through Wednesdays" are the only day the trail is open to pedestrian traffic.

Trail of Lights tickets are available online in advance or at the gate.
- Family vehicles (7 passengers or less) - $20*
- Limousines, commercial vans, mini-buses (25 passengers or less) - $30*
- Tour buses - $50*
- Pedestrians** (December 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 only) - $7 per person
*Plus GST & PST ** On Walk-Through Wednesdays children under 3 are free and dogs on a leash are permitted.
