Visit a Toronto-Area Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas tree farms not only offer acres of trees for you to choose from, but often have family activities, festive treats and decorative crafts for sale, so you can make an afternoon or even a whole day of it.

If you'd like to visit a tree farm in the Toronto area you will have to head outside of the city. Luckily, Toronto's surrounded by tree farms on all sides. Options include:

  • Clembrook Christmas Farm
Treats and crafts for sale, a free hot chocolate or cider, Santa visits on weekends plus wagon rides, a bonfire and tobogganing when the weather cooperates.

  • Hockley Valley Tree Farms
Enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides on weekends, a warm fire and complimentary hot chocolate.

  • Horton Tree Farms
Multiple locations, near Aurora & Stouffville
Different features at each location including hay rides, hot chocolate, or meeting Santa.

  • Tufford's Tree Farm
A family farm with a tobogganing hill and homemade cookies.

  • Middleton Tree Farm
This farm boasts easy access to the trees for seniors and small children.

  • Drysdale's Tree Farm
    Ballantrae (near Stouffville)
The Ballantrae tree farm is only open weekends. For Drysdale's daily tree harvesting, horse-drawn wagon rides, and visits with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, you'll have to drive further to the main location, near Barrie.
If none of those tree farms meet your needs, visit the website of the Christmas Tree Farmers of Ontario to search for more farms in the area.
