In a city like Toronto, pumpkins aren't something you expect to see anywhere other than piled up at grocery stores. But just a short drive outside the city are numerous family farms that not only grow pumpkins but also host harvest festival events throughout the fall. Some welcome you to pick your own pumpkins while others offer pumpkins ready-picked, but all can provide a memorable family outing this September or October.

The following is provided as a starting point only - checking for website updates or calling the farms before you visit is highly recommended, especially to confirm harvest/picking conditions.

Toronto-Area Farms with Fall Festival Activities

Southbrook Pumpkin Patch

Visit any day to pick your own pumpkin and buy fall decorations and more at the market, or go on the weekend to also enjoy tractor-pulled wagon rides, a kids' carnival, face painting, and other family activities.
