All Hallows Eve at Black Creek
Saturday October 29th 2011
After hosting family events during the day, Black Creek turns up the creep factor with ghost talks, illusions, a haunted maze and more, based around the theme of death in Victorian times. Fuel up with a zombie burger and some pumpkin beer from the Black Creek Historic Brewery.
• 7pm-10:30pm, $20 in advance or $25 at the door ($5 less for members), $7 parking
Halloween Haunt at Canada's Wonderland
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays beginning September 30th, plus Monday October 31st
Visit Canada's Wonderland for spooky mazes, late-night rides and creepy shows. Sorry, no costumes or masks allowed. The event in not recommended for those under the age of 13.
• 7pm - midnight, prices vary.
Screemers - Indoor Haunted Theme Park
Various evenings, October 14th - October 31st
Head to the Queen Elizabeth building at Exhibition Place to brave haunted walk-through attractions and take rides on the "Midway of Mayhem". New for 2011, you can take a break and grab a drink in the Vampire Lounge and explore the Slasher Wax Museum.
• $23.50 - $28.50 plus HST, group discounts available.
Toronto After Dark Film Festival
October 20th - October 27th
Although it's not strictly a Halloween event, the horror, sci-fi, action and cult movies shown at After Dark usually fit the time of year nicely.
