Dream in High Park - A Midsummer Night's Dream
The Canadian Stage Company's annual outdoor staging of one of Shakespeare's works is back this year with a repeat performance of "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Shows run Tuesday to Sunday at 8pm, with the gates opening to the site at 6pm. Admission is by donation ($20 minimum suggested). Remember that High Park is a big place and parking is limited, so whether you're driving or taking transit you should leave yourself ample time to actually reach the Dream site.

Toronto Fringe Festival
It's the 20th installment of Toronto's annual summer festival of off-beat, adventurous and untested stage shows.
July 4 - 6
Renaissance Festival at Casa Loma
Included with admission to Casa Loma will be live entertainment inspired by Renaissance times. Singing, dancing, birds of prey demonstrations and the always amusing magician/comedian Zoltan the Adequate will all be on hand.
July 4 - 20
Summerlicious
Over 100 of Toronto's fine dining restaurants will be offering prix fixe menus during Summerlicious. Enjoy three delicious courses while you enjoy the summer weather.

Caribana Festival
Enjoy food. music, dancing, art and performance from and inspired by the Caribbean. The events culminate in the Caribana Parade on August 2nd at Exhibition Place.
July 18-19
The Drinks Show
For two evenings they'll be showing off cocktails from all over the world at Exhibition Place and you can purchase samples or enjoy full drinks. Dress code in effect.
July 18-27
Beaches International Jazz Festival
It's also the 20th year of the Beaches Jazz Festival. Enjoy free concerts at Woodbine Park, Kew Gardens and during StreetFest on Queen Street East.

Wakestock
Bands and wakeboarders converge on the Toronto Islands for a World Series Wakeboarding Competition.
