  • The big event for many this weekend is the Grey Cup game at the Rogers Centre on Sunday, plus the Grey Cup Festival events which continue through to the big day.

  • The One of a Kind Christmas Show and Sale begins today (November 22) at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place, where it will continue until December 2.

  • There are other Toronto Christmas Craft Shows on this weekend, including Winter Artfest at the Neilsen Park Creative Centre, EHP's Christmas Arts & Crafts Show, and the first weekend of the Wandering Winter Craft Show.

  • Tonight (Thursday November 22) Autism Speaks Canada is having a gala fundraiser at the Liberty Grand, "Under the Big Top for Autism".

  • On Sunday afternoon Young People's Theatre holds their annual family fundraiser Hullabaloo, with family events and a performance of their current production, Cinderella (a RATical retelling).

  • Some of the holiday events at Toronto's historic museums get started with special programs at Scarborough Museum, Gibson House and Colborne Lodge.

  • The Christmas at Black Creek special weekend family programming at Black Creek Pioneer Village has started (check the daily schedules for details).

  • Toronto ComiCon is on Sunday at the Royal York Hotel.

  • There are more Santa Claus Parades in the GTA this weekend, including the Hamper's Santa Claus Parade along Kingston Road on Sunday.

  • On Saturday there's a free family concert, CELEBRATE! Holidays of the Global Village with Chris McKhool and Friends, which will be collecting monetary donations for ArtsCan Circle and food donations for the Daily Bread Food Bank.

  • There's a free Swedish Christmas Festival at Harbourfront Centre on Saturday and Sunday.

  • This is the first of four weekends that will make up Winterfest on Toronto's Waterfront.

  • The National Ballet of Canada offers Alice's Adventures in Wonderland until Sunday.

  • This is Community Weekend at the Toronto Zoo, with low admission and extra opportunities to see animals up close on Saturday and Sunday.

  • This is your last weekend to take advantage of the Meowvember Adoption Event at the Toronto Humane Society, plus on Saturday night there's a comedy review with partial proceeds going to the THS - check the events section of the website for details.

  • On Friday The Shaolin Warriors will be at The Sony Centre for one night only.

  • The Bata Shoe Museum's "Warm the Sole Sock Drive" continues this weekend.

  • Casa Loma has a Holiday Brunch on Sunday.

  • And from the calendar of User-submitted events for November:
    • Run With The Kittens is having a CD release party on Friday night.
    • The Gem Expo is on at the Hyatt Regency from Friday to Sunday.
    • Lakeshore Arts is having an Artisan Sale on Saturday.
    • Saturday is Star Trek Day TO.
    • And on Saturday there's a Winter Twig Identification workshop at the Humber Arboretum.
