Holiday Train in Toronto Tomorrow

By November 30, 2009

Follow me on:

I remember reading about the CP Holiday Train last year and thinking it sounded like a nice idea I was sorry I missed. Unfortunately this year I'm going to have to miss it again - but maybe you won't. Decorated with lights and filled with musicians, the CP Holiday Train is a traveling food- and fund-raiser for local foodbanks. Actually there are two trains, and they'll spend the season making numerous stops across Canada and the United States. Anyone dropping by to see the outdoor performances are asked to bring either a food or cash donation.

On Tuesday December 1st the Canadian train will be in Toronto, stopping adjacent to a RONA at 87 Ethel Avenue (near Keele and St. Clair) from 6:30-7pm. (There are also stops in Hamilton and Vaughan tomorrow - check the Quebec and Ontario Holiday Train Schedule for details). The entertainers at the Ethel stop will be The Odds and Shaun Verreault from Wide Mouth Mason.
