Miss August's electric car news? Take the poll!

Here's one more "green" post to follow up after the news about the expanded Blue Bin Program from this morning. Back in August I wrote about an Ontario Ministry of Transportation announcement that a safety study was going to be conducted to consider allowing low-speed electric vehicles on Ontario roads. Well now CBC News is reporting that the verdict is in, and the Ministry is indeed planning to develop specific safety standards for these electric cars - a big step toward getting them on select roads. Of course this is great news for the ZENN Motor Company, our local electric car builder who thus far has been forced to do most of their selling in the States!
