Will Ferguson Speaks at the Reference Library
Wednesday April 9, 2008
On Thursday April 10th Canadian author Will Ferguson will be doing a Q&A and giving a reading from his novel Spanish Fly as part of the Library's Downtown Author Series. Ferguson is probably best known for his breakout hit Why I Hate Canadians, but I recently read one of his novels -- Happiness -- and I must say his fiction is just as well-written and funny as that auto-biographical exploration of what it is to be Canadian.
The event is taking place at 7pm in the Toronto Reference Library's Beeton Auditorium. The Downtown Author Series continues in April and May with similar events featuring Helen Humphreys, Shauna Singh Baldwin, Douglas Hunter, James Raffan, and Elizabeth Hay.
