April is here and if you're a Toronto film buff you know what that means - so many festivals, so little time!

The Cinéfranco festival of English-subtitled French language film is already on, and ReelWorld -- Toronto's cinematic celebration of diversity -- kicks off today. The multimedia adventure that is the Images Festival is hot on ReelWorld's heels, opening tomorrow with a gala screening and after party.

Later this month Sprockets opens, and tickets are already on sale for this special festival for young film buffs and their families. Then get ready for documentary madness with the ever-popular HotDocs opening on April 17th.

Of course if you're a filmmaker you should be looking ahead to the fall film festival rush, since the Toronto International Film Festival and Planet in Focus are already accepting submissions, and that celebration of horror and fantasy known as Toronto After Dark is just in the midst of opening their submission process.
